Abstract:
The paper is devoted to developing a formal model of an urban system, consisting of interacting subsystems, while the force of interaction is determined by behavioral factors. To account for these factors a unified approach is used. Formaly the models are analogous to physical models, for them the concepts of the system entropy and stability are introduced. A system is stable with maximal of entropy in the hange of possible systems. The classical modes of spatial interaction Lowry's model, is shown to be particular case of the model developed in the paper.
