Abstract:
Three qualitatively new lines of MIS development are discussed which lead to significant improvement of management efficiency (1) use of general-purpose adaptive (self-adjusting) process control systems; (2) MIS computer-aided design; and (3) installation of fourth-generation uniform restructurable array computers. Basic results obtained in these directions in the Institute of Control Sciences; main policy directions of MIS embedding in industrial and other processes are outlined.
