Quasibarrier penalty functions

Abstract: The class of quasibarrier penalty functions is studied. For these bilateral direction estimates are determined whereby effective systems of one-dimensional minimization can be constructed and asymptotic dependencies are obtained for the optimal path in terms of the penalty coefficient.
