On the method of sources for studying the stability of nonlinear systems

Abstract: The method of sources is discussed which detects instability of equilibrium points in system of common nonlinear differential equations of the Cauchy type or arbitrary order directly from their right-hand side. The method is also applied to some aspects of asymptotic stability of these systems.
