Abstract: We consider non-uniform digital systems (DS) organized as a symmetric bipartite graph that consists of CPUs, memory units, and a commuter that can link any pair of CPUs and/or memory blocks. We show how to perform control and diagnostics (CaD) for these DS components by uniting different devices in the analyzed DS into verifiable subsystems that consist of a commuter, two communication channels, and a CPU or a memory unit. We show that in order to reliably diagnose these DSs one has to use sequential diagnostics of faulty components. We give an example of multiagent organization of DS component diagnostics in the considered structure.
