A root locus method for the analysis of asymptotic stability in the large of nonlinear systems

Abstract: Root locus conditions are obtained for asymptotic stability in the large of a nonlinear system. To obtain these root loci should be traced and the position of their branches relative to coordinate axes is analyzed. Root loci theory-based proof of the Willems frequency inequality is given. A method for finding a maximal stability region is developed fqr nonlinear systems.
