Abstract: The paper proposes a method to design flowcharts for arbitrary finite automata with any number of inputs and outputs. For an automaton with one input and an arbitrary number of outputs the necessary and sufficient realizability conditions are used with only single clocking pulse input signals used. The flowcharts are referred to as potential because their output units respond only to values of flows in certain elements.
