Technical Diagnostics

A quality control optimization method

E. A. Burlakov

Leningrad

Abstract: In the case studied in the paper the quality of parts to be assembled is tested with limited resources of the control departments; the problem is reduced to a nonlinear discrete programming problem. A two stage solution process is proposed. At the first stage analysis of and approximate solution found by the gradient method leads to conditions which limit the region in which the optimal solution may be sought by the method of dynamic programming.
