Abstract:
The paper is concerned with specifics in organizing inventory search in dynamic arrays which employ virtual memory of associative type. Estimates are given for effectiveness of conventional methods whereby inventory lists are constructed. An approach is developed to organization of inventory search involving the use of a growing feature tree whereby the enquiry tools of the system can be restructured in response to changes in the nature of queries.
