On solution of a computer-aided optimal control problem in choice of the optimal time quantization frequency

Abstract: The paper is concerned with design of control, optimal in terms of the quadratic functional, for a linear continuous plant where the controls are computer-generated as a sequence of amplitude-modulated pulses. With due regard for «informational» costs, or computer load, the design problem is formulated as that of vector-valued optimization. By reducing the vector-valued optimality criterion to a certain scalar indicator the optimal time quantization frequency is determined.
