Abstract:
A matrix of adaptive flat magnetic domains (FMD) elements intended for a system learning to recognize hand-written symbols is placed in a standard 38X28X5 mm3 module. A system of 24 modules computes 48 correlation functions of 150 arguments in five microseconds. The structure and behaviour of PMD's in adaptive elements of the matrix is discussed. The areas of ferromagnetic thin film channels are determined where the FMD structure is energetically invariant with geometry changes. A newly discovered mechanism of the domain tip propagation with film remagnetization is described.
