Dynamic systems with control and an opto-mechanical analogy

Abstract: The relation is established between dynamic control systems and mechanical or optic systems in terms of the Lagrangean or Hamiltonian formalism. A differential geometric interpretation is used in the framework of the earlier concept of the phase portrain of a dynamic control systems.
