Bayesian minimax estimates of systems reliability

Abstract: The probability of faultless operation of hardware under partial a priori certainty is estimated by using the Bayesian approach and the minimax principle of statistical inference. The meaningful significance of the estimates is analyzed in a numerical experiment.
