Abstract: For a chemical process of several continuous installations and storages of the raw material, semi-products, and products the problem of statically optimal control in many actual cases may be divided into two problems without using iterative decomposition. On the higher level, on-line process control, the loads of the installations are chosen and on the lower level, local static optimization of installations, the operating modes of these installations are determined. This procedure leads to a division of labor between various control levels in an integrated control system.
