On the duration of the self-diagnosing procedure for digital systems with failed modules

Abstract: The start of a testing self-diagnosing procedure from the failed module is shown to cause its reiteration from another initial module. Assuming a certain response of failed modules a probabilistic estimate is found of the duration of the testing selfdiagnosing procedure which allows for the possibility of such re-starts
