Abstract:
A model is studied of a non-Markov queueing system with one server, an infinite number of queuing sites, and a multi-stage service of customers where losses are dictated by the time of stay in the system and failures to serve. An algorithm is proposed of synthesizing a quasi-optimal strategy of situational control for the service. Conditions are obtained for proximity of the desired and optimal strategies. An example is provided of designing a control strategy for a specific queueing system.
