Abstract:
A differential nesting is considered whose set of solutions coincides with that for control systems with a finite number of nonlinearities satisfying sectoral constrains. An algorithm is presented which computes in a finite number of steps the Lyapunov index of the differential nesting with specified accuracy. Simultaneously, the algorithm plots the Lyapunov function for an asymptotically stable differential nesting. A case study is presented of using the computed values in estimating the dissipativeness domain of a differential nesting with a perturbation in the right-hand side.
