On optimal and adaptive control of dynamic plants under uncertainty

Abstract: The paper is concerned with optimal stabilization of a certain class of linear discrete plants with unknown parameters and subjected to unmonitorable disturbances. A game approach leads to optimal and adaptive control algorithms in which a priori estimates of the unknown parameters are updated from observations of the plant motion.
