Abstract:
With simplest possible assumptions (a Poisson input flow of customers and exponential service) the paper discusses a two-channel service system where the customers can change the queues. Expressions are obtained for stationary probabilities of states and main system characteristics for two situations: (1) when a customer joins the queue the information on the rates of service intensities is used and (2) is not used.
