Abstract:
The specifics of software for a control system and factors which influence the effectiveness of its CAD are considered. Basic costs of developing control programs are estimated as a function of the degree to which the design is automated and of program parameters. A flowchart of the process of developing and operating program packages and the main development stages are described. The state-of-art in design technology for control program packages is estimated.
