Deterministic Systems

Autonomy in multivariable systems with discontinuous control functions

V. A. Utkin

Moscow

Abstract: For linear multivariable system a procedure is specified for discontinuous control function design aimed at insuring autonomy of the output variable vector components. The cases are discussed where the parameters of the process are continuous and vary in a narrow range and where it is required to obtain autonomy in the presence of disturbances while only output variable vector components are measurable. In the design procedures sliding motions are deliberately created.
