Abstract:
The paper is concerned with the fastest and economical heating of oxidising metal. The problem of the fastest heating is solved by the method of straight lines. A set of finite conditions is identified for which in the speed-optimal process the control is not switched. The economical heating problem is solved numerically in a mathematical model The results in modeling the both heatings are compared with the experimental data.
