Methods for piecewise approximation of multidimensional curves

Abstract: Procedures are proposed whereby piecewise approximate on is obtained for a set of curves (a multidimensional curve) whose totality describes the system under study. Two cases are considered: 1) simultaneous variation of the behaviour of all the curves and 2) the $i$-th curve changes its behaviour in a (generally unknown) time period following change of the system state.
