On-line process control mechanism in a multi-product factory

Abstract: For every department of an on-line controlled multi-product factory the concept of a “measure” of deviation from the schedule is introduced and an incentive mechanism is proposed for the factory to adhere to the schedule and use the available resources in meeting orders above the shedule. The possibility of hierarchical design of on-line control mechanisms is considered.
