Abstract:
The paper is concerned with algorithms for adjusting the parameters of a digital receiver in a data transmission system whereby on one performance criterion the corrector factors the carrier frequency phase, and the clock oscillation phase are simultaneously optimized.
A method is proposed for orthogonalization of local parameter motion whereby the effects of receiver parts on one another during the adjustment are eliminated. Computer simulation results for a 9,600 bit and 12,000 bit KAFM DBP modem in a telephone channel are given.
