Approximate-optimal stabilization of a range of nonlinear systems

Abstract: The paper is concerned with design of an approximately optimal action which satisfies a specified criterion in a nonlinear control system with a minimal integral performance estimate. The proposed approach combines analytical decomposition of the nonlinear functions with error evaluation by the Krotov formula.
