Abstract: We consider the possibility to use filtering algorithms for joint estimation of the coordinates of angular motion, elastic oscillations, and identifying their nonstationary parameters when controlling the orientation of deformable spacecrafts (DS) whose dynamics are given in the modal-physical form. We use the resulting estimates to form a control signal that instills additional changes in the controlling moment that compensate for the influence of elastic oscillations on the DS motion dynamics. We show the results of mathematical modeling of the synthesized algorithm that illustrate its convergence, stability, and high accuracy.
