Model of the precautionary and motivational role of insurance

Abstract: A model of decision making by the insurer about the size of the insurance payment was considered. The flexible mechanisms of insurance rates were shown to be both precautionary, that is, stimulating the insured to increase the assignments to the precautionary measures, and motivational, that is, stimulating the insured to take actions that reduce the damage of the insured accidents.
