Statistical estimation of correlation dependences between parameters of hail clouds during cloud seeding

Abstract: Results of researches of correlation dependences between parameters of hail clouds at carrying out active influences on hail processes are considered. Modern methods of mathematical statistics, in particular (1), are used to estimate the coefficient of mutual correlation when exposed to single-cell, multi-cell and super-cell clouds. These calculations show the importance of studying the correlation between the parameters of hail clouds to assess the effectiveness of artificial impacts on clouds.
